Stupidity in its own words

This got me laughing so hard I almost crashed my car today. I love the tongue-in-cheeck, the irony.
Here’s a teaser: “If you just throw out the first 12 chapters of Genesis, what’s to keep you from throwing out any other part of the Bible?”

And yet, somewhere, someone is sitting there and nodding along, clucking their approval.
I still love how evangelicals love to flex Rigorous Science in scientist’s faces:
“It’s just a THEORY. We don’t know for sure, so Creationism should get a fair shake, right?! Do you HATE expanding your mind, Scientist?! Oh, and we’ll just skip over other religions’ creation myths because we all know they’re wacko anyway. ps—God hates fags.”
Here’s what I want to know: do fundamentalist Christians sit around and make jokes about crazy scientists and their goo-goo theories about monkeys? Or are they serious all the time? I mean, P3ggy F!cker wore a “jokey” anti-evolution t-shirt back in HS (“I ain’t made from no ape!” or some bullshit…and she was Catholic!), but everyone else I’ve spoken to has either been really humorless or maddeningly Zen about the whole thing.
