I was going to stay out of the Summers fray but my girlfriend Courtney broached the subject. All I did was clarify what he said. She responeded (and I paraphrase), “Bring the research. It will only show how wrong the idea of genetic predisposition is.”
If only NOW were so astute.
What was the quote? ”...he kept saying things we had refuted in the first half of the day.” Whoops, my bad. I was eating a danish and wasn’t really paying attention. I missed it when we closed the case. Sorry, I am just an economist not a leading women’s studies studier.
The irony here is so painful, I can hardly bring myself to mention it. Who is saying what about science? ...But then… Who is saying what about science?
